Dog Days of Summer

It's no surprise that the Children's Library loves animals. Remember all the fun we had last summer with the barnyard animals we met at From Farm to Library? This summer, the library is going to the dogs! We will be meeting service dogs and learn about how to take care of them and the types of jobs they do.

June is HERE!

With only a few days of school remaining, kids are making their summer plans with us here at the library. Check out all of the free programs happening this summer!

New programs include kid gardening basics at Garden Sprouts, fun introductions to science, technology, engineering, art, and math  at Team S.T.E.A.M., makerspace projects at On Your Mark, Get Set, Make!, and learn all about service dogs and how to take care of them at our Dog Days of Summer series.

Did you hear? In the next few years, our money will be getting a makeover! The biggest change is that they are moving President Andrew Jackson off the front of the $20 bill and moving him to the back. Taking his place? Civil War hero HARRIET TUBMAN!
