Winter is coming...and we are set for "snow" much fun this December! Check out all of the great FREE activities you can be a part of at the library!
Bilingual Storytime
Our last Bilingual Storytime of the year will be held on Friday, December 4 at 10:30 am with Miss Tatiana.
Tween Time
Tweens (ages 9-12) have two special events just for them. On December 1 at 4 pm, we're making masks and learning more about traditional masks and their origins. We are also meeting on December 15 to make mini-catapults.
Melvil Dewey's Birthday
Happy Birthday to Dewey and the Dewey Decimal System! Find out more about the man that organized the library and changed the way we look at information forever.
Pre-school Storytime
Is it chilly outside? Warm up at our Monday morning storytimes! Miss Kim is reading books about winter and snow.
Creation Station: Play-doh
Design and create your own masterpieces with play-doh at Creation Station on December 21 at 4 pm.
Disney Readers
Snow White is the star of December's Disney Readers session. Read a book about this Disney princess, then make a craft.

It's only November, but we are already hard at work on our Winter Party. LET IT SNOW!

News is getting out about an amazing grant the library earned! Partnering with the Reading Bike Hub, the Reading Public Library is offering an after school program that discusses bike safety and maintenance to kids and teens ages 10-14!

We have some serious movie buffs here at our library. We also have a lot of dedicated members of our "Disney Readers" program who recently read about Ariel and Belle. What happens when we combine these two loves? We got an idea for a majorly fun movie night!
