Winter Homeschool Program Update
Unfortunately, our Fire & Rescue presentation for
Homeschoolers on Thursday, January 11, has been cancelled due to low
enrollment. We’ll try scheduling our firefighters again later this year. All of
our other kids’ workshops and programs will go on as scheduled.
Our teen homeschool program, World Cultures: Japan, will
continue as scheduled on Thursday, January 11 at 2 pm. This is part 1 of a 2
part program, including a project that will begin this week and continue into
next week’s session. Because of this, the teen librarian would like registrants
to attend both sessions.
What are our other programs for the winter? Check them out

New Year, New Programs!
The new year is here! Start it off right by getting a library card and coming to our programs!
This month, 2 new programs begin:
Adventures in Painting allows families to experiment and discover painting techniques and materials.
Problem Solvers is a fun way to strengthen math skills.
Plus, we'll be hosting our first TechTacular where we'll be showcasing some of the cool new tech toys and programs we plan to offer in the spring.
Is it too cold for you to visit the library? No problem! Use your library card to check-out books, movies, and music from YOUR OWN HOUSE. Check out our eMedia page to get started: http://readingpubliclibrary.org/rpl-at-your-fingertips/
Need a card? Literally any one can get an eCard, regardless of fines or whether or not you have PA state ID.
